Relaxed... until the next test

Yup! Feeling rather relieved now, now that there's only two more exams left *lonnnng sigh*

Studying chemistry halfway, and realised how much I have forgotten over the long end-of-year hols. Sulfur dioxide forms acid rain? Or was it sulfur trioxide? Or none of the above? Agh! Actually, why is limestone so susceptible to acid rain?

And my brother is telling me it is possible to make the soil less acidic by peeing in it instead of adding CaO or Calcium hydroxide. Apparently this is because our urine contains ammonia, but I believe it's too little to do any good unless the place where you grow all your carrots and broccoli in is the outhouse. And anyway I don't think anyone will want to eat something with (correction: had) pee on it.

If this is what they're teaching in RI, be very, very afraid.

Back to the point:
I'm out of practice. What is an isotope?! Ok. Back to mugging.
